Seriously, weightloss by stretch mark is where my life falls now. Yes I have stretch marks on my back, my arms, my thighs, inner thighs, I have stretch marks everywhere.

ppl like that obviously cant have much of a life and be very unhappy to make comments such as that…anyway.. STRETCH MARKS.. i hate them though as you say a great way of visualising everyones success..i have been with my fella 3.5yrs now and due to contentment gradually put on 49lbs putting it on NO stretchmarks now i am losing it (not too quickly btw i wish!) they springing up on my tummy and hips(only little red ones so far) but how has that happened?go figure?!i am so not impressed!..trying bio oil but its not working

I have read somewhere that stretchmarks can mean anything! ok so say you are going to be a body builder and your doing a ton of…bicep curls (for example) and of course men bulk up. So lets say your biceps “grow” and muscle is built. Your arm will get bigger to hold the extra muscle, the skin can stretch and voila…stretch marks!
I am not sure if this happens for every person, but isn’t it a thought? When you build beautiful muscles, if the skin stretches enough you could get stretch marks just from that too!?
I read that idiots comment and totally agree with you. I tried hard not to post something really ugly but couldn’t help but to at least comment on his sorry butt! Anywho, Streach Mark City, I totally agree!!! Ha! Guess it comes with the weight loss territory but hey, I would take streach marks to fat rolls any day!!!!

I think Rod really meant well. I have stretch marks too, though I refer to them as battle scars!

oh yes the stretchmarks… have several of those myself.. they get less visible as you slim down though.. but they will never go away boohoo..

Oh yeah… the stretch marks. They don’t bother me as much as… I don’t even know if I should say this; well at 57 losing the weight is showing on my face and neck. That’s life… fortunately, I only see it when I look in the mirror. In my minds eye… I’m still about 30-ish… LOL

The only way that I know how to get rid of stretch marks is in the tanning bed. It is not the most healthy thing but it works. Anyway it doesn’t matter, you look great!
Stretch marks!!!!! Aughh!! LOL I swear, every time I listen to the radio, I hear 20 commercials about some stupid stretch mark cream that REALLY works! lol Whatever…. I guess I’d rather have less flab and more stretch marks than vice versa though!

Stretch marks never go away unfortunately. When I got pregnant those were the first I had ever seen on my body. My obstetrician told me rubbing all the oils on your body will never make them go away only reduce their appearance. I have learned to embrace them. Rod meant well and hell the man even noticed your hard work, albeit, a weird way to notice but he was meaning well. I’ve lost 17 pounds and Jason doesn’t comment. Damned if they do damned if they don’t right? You’ve come so far Nancy! Embrace it!!!
