Holy Crap even My SHADOW jiggled! No more running or walking for me; INSTRUCTOR ME?

Hahaha!  I just went food shopping today.  You know, I got the best customer service from the men today.  Do you think it has anything to do withy my bootaay shorts?  LOL

As I was coming out of the store I notice my shadow - HOLY CRUD - MY SHADOW JIGGLED WITH MY COTTAGE CHEESE THIGHS!  I thought it was hilarious.

Rod and I finally had a talk about the other night.  He was soooo angry with me because he said it took something like that for me to realize how unsafe it is to be out there in the streets.  Even for a simple walk.  His biggest fear always was my ex-huband seeing me and confronting me.  Even worse was a stranger trying to do who knows what was going thru his head.   He said, when he heard what happened, he was ready to jump in the car to go get me but when I told him everything was ok, he just got really mad.  Mad at himself, mad at me - thus the fuel for our fight.

We are good now.  Hey, nothing better then make-up sex right? hehe

Yesterday’s kickboxing and hip hop class was the shi*!!!!  It took 5 class, about 5 hrs for me to start pulling out of shyness shell and really enjoying hip hop.  I am starting to fall in love with it the way I do with my kickboxing, yoga, pilates and bootcamp stuff that I do.

Today I was suppose to get back to my weight conditioning program but I decided to post poned it for another fun kickboxing class.  I went to a gym I haven’t been to for like 2 yrs.  The instructor was a good one.  I had a ton of fun.  She loved me and told me I should become an instructor.  My answer - I like being a participant. :)

Well, Blaithin, no more running or walking outside for me.  Those days are over.  I can only do it if someone is with me.  We just feel that living in this city it’s too dangerous to be out in the streets.  It’s not safe anymore.  Everything I do is at the gym or the beach if Rod goes with me.

Tomorrow I have a Step and Yoga class to attend.  I can’t wait.

Well, better catch up with you fine buddies today! :)

My hubby was complaining about the tiny amount of fat on his thighs today.. just an itty bit by the crotch, normal on ANYONE and it was like.. have you seen MY thighs???

  2. Joyous1 @ July 26th, 2009

Posted too soon.. LOL.. anyways.. I’m finally getting back in the proper groove I feel. My brother passing away just kind of threw me off track in all terms of my “self” but I’m finally returning to a somewhat normal place.

LOL my fiance HATES it when I go jogging/biking on the trail by our house… he thinks I am going to get kidnapped! I am very careful and usually go in the morning when all the older ladies are out! :) Good job on your weight loss!

Too bad you had to fight over it, but I can see both sides. It stinks you have to give it up, but it IS safer. Have a fun swim!

Hey maybe you can find a running club some around here get together on weekends and run through parks.

  11. not2late4tina @ July 26th, 2009

You’re too funny. I find it hard to believe you jiggle at all. It’s too bad you won’t be able to work out as much outside but I’d much rather you stay safe. I’m glad to see things are settling down for you.

Thank you for the advice; I think I decided to go back to the gym. It’s an all women’s gym and they have pretty good classes; unfortunately, I’m rarely brave enough to actually take the classes…. I’m sure with your help, I’ll get there :)

i am happy everything is cool now. i can go for a run alone, if it is in the day. but he prefers me not to. i get tired of the treadmill. i will start back outside when it is not so hot. i miss it. i dont have anyone to run with.. soooo.. alone i go. hubby doesn’t want to exercise.

you go with your bootay shorts. i dont wear shorts at ALL.. so you wear them for me. :)

Ok I’m not buying the shadow jiggle either! LOL. Aren’t men the silliest creatures? Some of their notions are really like they are from another planet. The differences between us often makes me wonder what ever God could have been thinking. I am glad though that you were able to get to the heart of the issue. Oh and you truly are a wildwoman….5 hours of class? Wow, that is beyond impressive! If I take two classes all I want to do is come home and nap. You go girl!

  14. ready2bskinE @ July 26th, 2009

Bootie shorts!!! :) You go girl. The men do like a nice bootie. (or so I’ve heard lol) ;)

It sucks not being able to go outside, but it’s definitely safer if someone is with you, so I agree with your decision. I miss the days when it was ok to go riding our bikes through the neighborhood and not come home til we got hungry, and nobody worried because everything was cool. Now, it’s like somebody needs to know your GPS coordinates every second of the day, or there’s no telling if you’re safe or not. :(

Anyway, glad you’re lovin the hip hop class. :) Have a great weekend!

  16. kamaperry @ July 26th, 2009

Now you know why I do not run. Just not safe. I am so glad you all made up!!! See? He does care. Men handle it so different than we do.
Glad you are feeling more comfortablw with the hip hop!!

  17. kamaperry @ July 26th, 2009

    Check you mod folder, hun!

  18. yellow @ July 26th, 2009

So glad things are feeling better at home. :)

  19. jerseymom @ July 26th, 2009

Lol about the jiggle…you still look amazing!
GOod luck with the new weight program

  20. Leida @ July 26th, 2009

I am lucky because I feel completely safe running outside. Heck, half the time, I wish 90% of people in the park weren’t there! Sometimes it’s like pushing through a crowd during lunch time run!

But safety first, and do what works for you, and never-ever put yourself in danger!

    I think you’d make a great instructor!!!

  21. beckyboo @ July 27th, 2009

I am so glad u two talked about it and “made up!” I was kind of wondering if that is why he was acting that way. I mean, he probably felt inadequate and pissed cause he felt like he couldnt protect you. he is frmo a different culture, so those feelings could really be different for him. Have a GREAT Sunday !

  22. AuntTeeTee @ July 28th, 2009

I figured you 2 would work it out :)

I am fortunate to live out in the country but we are still very careful about where we go alone. The world just isnt safe from all the weirdos.

  23. nisey140 @ July 29th, 2009

I knew everything would work out… And hey I think you would be a great instructor… I thought that like two days after I met you… Have a blessed week.
