MAY U REST IN PEACE: Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett

Michael is/was one of the greatest artists of all times.  He’s an amazing person.  So sad to see the last years of his life go down as it did.  50 years old WOW!  Per TMZ he passed away from cardiac arrest this afternoon.  But I better keep my mouth shut till they confirm it. Anyhow, that man was self destructive; even so his music is legendary. I grew up on it.

May Farrah rest in peace.  She was such a fighter.  I talked to my boss about her anal cancer. He said oregano would of helped and Stay away from the doctor.  Not sure if I believe it but you know, my boss is rarely wrong.

Well, just hearing this news puts me to shame for acting petty and getting upset over stupid work related issues.

I’m going to give my loved ones a call and tell them I love them.

Life is too short to get upset over small issues.

I need to get to the gym and work out these pent up feelings; I don’t deal well with anger.

So glad I can get a weight session in; no interval training just pure weights and a 5K run to follow.

Some of his songs:

“Thriller”

“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”

“Beat It”

“Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”

“Billie Jean”

“The Way You Make Me Feel”

“Smooth Criminal”

“Bad”

“P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)”

“Black or White”

“Man in the Mirror”

“Rock With You”

“Remember the Time”

I called Rodney and he is crying. We grew up on his music. Rodney says he changed his life. He was an inspiration.

I remember the buttons, the JACKETS!! The glove!!!! Does anyone remember those buttons? I used to try to collect as many as I can.

I know almost all the words to his songs!!!!!

This is a sad day in history.

I LOVE THRILLER!! Used to scare me when I was a kid. I thought it was all real!

Candace, really? WOW! Thanks for the confirmation. I’ll let him know he has support.

I heard that he was taken to the hospital while I was washing the dishes (I listen to the radio) and then when I went into the living room they said he died on the tv…
I’m sorry but I don’t really know most of those songs, but I think my mom had albums of him. She liked Farrah Fawcett though
    :(

Nancy! By the way love the new Pic!

  22. easybreezy @ June 26th, 2009

He was such a great musician it’s sad to hear that he’s passed on. I loved Thriller, but who doesn’t!?

  23. ready2bskinE @ June 26th, 2009

Sorry to say, I don’t really share the passion for MJ. But I always thought that one day, he’d find happiness and be comfortable in his own skin. I don’t believe he was able to do that before he passed, so I do feel sorry for him. Money or fame really can’t buy you the things that matter. :(

Farrah was tough, she fought as long as she could. My mom still flips her hair out in those “wings” sometimes. :)

  24. kyliejo @ June 26th, 2009

I know, it’s so sad. Who knows what he was really sick with.

I’m with you on the sad for Michael!!! I too grew up with him, he was a huge part of my growing up. People at work were joking and making fun of him, but I am truly sad that he’s gone. I’m so with you and Rod on this!!

  29. dannimelanson @ June 26th, 2009

Very sad. He was amazing. We lost something very special yesterday………….He did represent our youths and a time where we though everything would be okay.

  30. kamaperry @ June 28th, 2009

I am so sad. I think this is the first star I really cried over. Between him and Farrah, they were 2 I grew up admiring. May they both rest in peace.
Ok song trivia, anyone remember the song “Ben” Michael did it in the early 70’s for a movie called “Willard” about a rat.
