I jumped on the scale again to make sure it read 144. Yes it did!!! I am so happy!!!!!!
Still battling my cold/flu/exercise killer/sore throat creater/healthy living hater thingy. See, calling it a thingy because it is killing me softly!
Ever feel like you represent Snow White and all 7 dwarfs at the same time? That’s me….I sleep, sneeze, am grumpy, then laugh and cough then sleepy again. I’m surprise my poor nose is not as red as Rudolphs - too bad Christmas is over or else I can stand in for as the lead Reindeer.
I divert all my phone calls to my assistant. I can’t talk on the phone for more then 2 minutes without coughing and feeling like my lungs are about to pop out through my mouth.
I really miss my routine. I miss going to my favorite classes. Rod and I agreed it’s ok to go back to my routine on Sunday at the earliest. For now it’s quality time with peanut butter eating honey. Hence, the quality sleep time *snickers* hehe.

OH THE CHALLENGE!!!
A lot of us, many of us do not drink enough water. You have to. There’s no way around looking better, feeling better, have healthier skin, nail, complexion without it. It’s your best friend!
So I challenge my buddies Tracey and Kama to drinking 100 oz a day. Personally I drink 130 oz on average.
I CHALLENGE YOU - TO DRINK 100 OZ A DAY!! It can be done!!!! Renee, my girl is increasing hers and doing it. So can you.
If there is one change you should stick to, it’s drinking water. Quit the pop, soda, energy drink and all that sugary stuff. Make water your best friend.
100 oz…that’s easy. Yes, EASY!!!!
Promise me you will drink your water and EAT AN HOUR OR SO BEFORE YOU EXERCISE!!!!!! And you will have me crying like a baby!

I avg. about 96 oz. on the days I workout and I thought that was a lot so I’ll take your challenge. I’m sad to say if I don’t work out I don’t think about drinking water because usually I’m not thirsty for it, but I’ll just glue my water bottle to me :o)
As far as the eating goes you asked did I eat before I worked out and yes always… I read more articles by that personal trainer really helped understand some things. I read the one about doing weight training before cardio which I now do thank you and a bunch of other ones. Thanks!

No pics of me until I get to the beach in June. I absolutely HATE having my picture taken. I rate it right up there with hot flashes. lol
I’ll take the water challenge. Been getting my 72 oz per day, so I’ll push for more. No eating before I work out though. I just can’t bring myself to eat at 4:30 in the morning.
Listen to your body Nancy. I know it’s killing you not to work out, but I had rather see you well that exacerbating the problem by pushing yourself before you are ready. K?

Well if this detox is doing one thing for me that is making sure I get enough water each day! I’m getting more than a gallon each day with the gallon of “lemonade” with the cups of tea and the plain water in between to chase the cayenne pepper away LOL!! I’m gonna stick to the increased water intake thats fo sho! Great blog as always. I usually read yours first because they make me laugh

Dagny, you have to eat a snack before you workout. Carb - complex carb hon! Like an apple and some PB or apple butta! You know what I mean. Fuel your body hon!
